Update at 6 p.m.: Black Friday crowds intensified after quiet morning at Destiny USA
In the ninth month of the coronavirus pandemic, shoppers still came out on Black Friday, but the holiday crowds were small and subdued.
Destiny USA is the nation’s sixth largest mall. Black Friday is typically its busiest day of the year but only a handful of people waited outside various stores before they opened at 6 a.m.
